Release 1.0 is available! The US Air Force Transport Clock App displays historic active duty and prototype US Air Force Transport and Utility aircraft from 1950 to the present day. We've searched public domain government photo archives for the first release of 65 full color pictures taken by Air Force photographers around the world.
The C-47 Skytrain, C46 Commando, C54 Skymaster, C-97 Stratofreighter, C-118 Liftmaster, C-123 Provider, C-130 Hercules, C-141 Starlifter, C-7 Galaxy, C-17 Globemaster III and more are captured in the air and on the ground.
App Preferences available in Settings
- Military Time
Choose Military 24 hour or Civilian 12 hour clock.
- Picture Looping
Automatically start the pictures over from the beginning or stop at the end.
- Delay Between Pictures
Control the delay before switching to the next picture.
The default is 25 seconds.
- Auto Start
Automatically start the slide show when you launch the app.
- Screen Sleep Mode
Turn off your device's auto screen sleep.
- Battery Charge Level
Display your battery's charge level. Great for those who recharge their device while using this app.
Future releases will include more user options to control picture display and additional photos as we continue to look for more exciting and interesting pictures of historical active duty and prototype US Air Force fighters.
