Updated: Dec 21, 2010

Release 1.2 is available!  This update contains additional vintage warbird pictures, one new App “autostart” feature, and an upgrade to iOS 4.2.

We've found 35 additional pictures of your favorite USAF jet fighters and added them to the App. The total number of pictures is now 95.

Several users requested a way to automatically start the app in slideshow mode rather than having to manually start it after launch. It's a great idea - and we added it in this release. You can set it by going to Settings → Fighters 1950+ and enabling “Automatically Start Slide Show.” The next time you start the App, the airplane slideshow will start automatically.

Watch for a future update! We're searching for more pictures – and working on a universal app release for iPod Touch and iPhone users.

As always, thank you for your support, comments, and suggestions.

The first App in the US Fighters series was released on Thurs, 14 October.  This slideshow Clock app displays historic active duty and prototype US Air Force Fighters from 1950 to the present day.  We've searched public domain government photo archives for the first release of 65 full color pictures taken by Air Force photographers around the world.  The pictures capture the beauty of flight in the air and on the ground.  Future releases will include additional photos as we continue to look for more exciting and interesting pictures of historical active duty and prototype US Air Force fighters.

We look forward to your comments and suggestions for improvements for our  next release.
